Probably a docs bug?

Comment 3 by tic...@gmail.com, Jun 18 2016

Possibly, yes. I notified the Docs team and asked whether a Docs bug needs to be filed too. It was suggested a Chromium bug would be a good first step. If this is set to Wontfix, please ask the Docs team to file a bug instead.

Thanks,

- Mike
We had iPads and went to Chromebooks. The students are very attached to being able to draw on screen and it doesn't seem to be too much to ask. Inserting a drawing using the touchscreen didn't work, I had to use the trackpad or my mouse... ick!
This would be a huge update and help for the education market, especially science and math. It would allow students to engage seamlessly with Google Drawings.

We also are looking to move forward with touch chromebooks but need this resolved. The capability to draw via online apps like sketchpad works fine, but not in drawings.

This is a HUGE problem! Using the touch pad to draw is EXTREMELY difficult for young students. Hope this is updated soon!!!
Thank you!

Please fix this, we have young and older students that this could be a ,are it or brake it using chromebooks come july...
This state of affairs is ridiculous. Google Drawings should be able to take input from a Chromebook with a touchscreen. It's laughable that it doesn't, and this is especially important to use of Google in education.
since purchasing my Pixelbook I can't believe how many functions Google has neglected to make work, this being one that 100% should work
