cs.chromium.org is very slow lately |

Issue descriptionVersion: Version 53.0.2763.0 dev-m OS: Windows 7 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Load https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/third_party/WebKit/Source/core/layout/LayoutGrid.cpp?type=cs&q=SubtreeLayoutScope+grid&sq=package:chromium&l=1 (2) Try scrolling What is the expected output? Scrolling and interactions are very slow What do you see instead? It should be fast, like it used to be Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

I have only tested on Windows 7 -- I noticed it this week, but I don't know exactly when it started unfortunately :(

Would be great to do a bisect to try to track down when this started. I'll see if I can repro it on windows when I get back to my desk.

Fail to reproduce on either win 7 or 10 on 52 or 53. Do you have any extensions installed perhaps?

Hm, I feel like this is much better in 53.0.2781.0 canary (64-bit) which has szager's change above. There is still a 1-2 second hang while the page is loading though. I have only the default Google extensions in this profile.
