Utterances come out of Pixel 2 Speakers Instead of COnnected Earphones

Reproduction Steps: 
1. COnnect earphones
2. Open lid to Pixel 2
3. Note where spoken feedback for first .5-1 seconds are from

Observed:
Brief utterances from Pixel 2 speakers before they're directed to earphons

Expected:
If earphones are connected, 100% cvox2 utterances to go to earphones

Does this occur with all audio (e.g. if you were playing an audio track)? Leaving untriaged since it's probably a general audio issue.

@alberto, this is an issue we have seen a number of times on Chrome OS. Not sure if it's a hardware issue. Have you seen similar reports of this sort of audio discrepancy? Can you help to find an owner?
