Occasional "awws" but main problem wont launch until Firefox opened

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2763.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start PC from off
2. Attempt to launch Chrome
3. After numerous attempts reboot and use Firefox then relaunch Chrome

What is the expected behavior?
Launch from start

What went wrong?
Good question

Crashed report ID: no

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? Yes Suspect this changed with update

Chrome version: 53.0.2763.0  Channel: dev
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

 granlyn@ Thanks for the issue.

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7 using chrome version 53.0.2766.0.Able to launch chrome from start menu.

Request you please try the issue by upgrading chrome to latest canary and update the thread if the issue still persists.
