Any application using Android WebView crashes.

THIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB
BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE!

Device name:Nexus 6
Android version:NPC91K
WebView version (from system settings -> Apps -> Android System WebView):51.0.2704.81
Application:Anything that uses WebView (Google Now, Gmail, iFunny, etc.)
Application version:Any

URLs (if applicable):



Steps to reproduce:
(1)Open any application that currently uses Android  WebView.
(2)Wait.
(3)

Expected result:The application functions properly.


Actual result:The application crashes shortly after launch.

crash logs?

Developer preview build. On N, webview is provided by chrome. If you manually installed over with a chrome build from the play store, then it's not going to have webview implementation in it, so all webview apps will crash.

assume that so wontfix for now

Actually I was told installing over chrome should not cause crashes. So back to needing crash logs.
