It appears to be some kind of issue with how chrom utilizes its network resources.. this appears to be a longstanding issue see this thread here that I came across https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=234779 I used some of the advice from here an now the video plays 3 times after 3 visits but after that it stays in a state of pending Did this work before? No Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? HTML5 Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 51.0.2704.84 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.4 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Hi @tapted. Cant seem to see your comment but just to update. this looks like an issue where after 7 videos are simultaneously downloading it breaks my application until one of them frees up its resources

I vaguely remember simultaneously downloading >6 videos are not allowed. hubbe@, can you confirm?

Chrome is limited to 6 simultaneous connections to the same server. Video elements can hold a connection open, which can cause these sort of problems. The example URL seems to be incorrect though, making it difficult to know if that is really the solution here.
