Issue descriptionRequest- Allow a user to specify Bluetooth range for Beacon advertisements Context- We are working with Radius Networks, Coca-cola and Double-click to build digital signs supporting beacon advertisements using Chromebits Controlling BLE range (Signal strength) has come up as a feature request from Radius Networks to achieve parity with other platforms. Eventually we would like to configure this value from cPanel (as a policy setting) for Digital Signage.

Bluetooth 5.0 has a provision to set TX power. Unless we have a very strong reason to do this, I intend on closing this issue for 4.0 firmwares as a WontFix. Keep in mind, to actually add this feature, we will need to coordinate with our vendors to make changes in their firmware - something that has a high lead time. So if anyone really needs this, please do let me know, soon. If I don't hear otherwise, I plan on closing this next week.
