Some new sites no longer being saved on 53.0.2764.0 |
|||
Issue descriptionVersion: 53.0.2764.0 OS: Android L A number of pages are no longer being saved such as news.yahoo.com and wsj.com. Monitoring the directory a file is created with 0 bytes, and then deleted when the finishes loading. I navigated to wsj.com with the no-store extension and enabled, and it didn't catch anything, I'm not clear why it wouldn't be saved. It used to be saved and viewable. What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Open Chrome 53.0.2764.0 with offline pages enabled (2) Navigate to wsj.com, wait for it to finish (3) Look at the save offline pages - /data/data/com.chrome.canary/app_chrome/Default/Offline Pages/archives What is the expected output? A file should appear for the wsj.com home page. What do you see instead? Nothing appears. Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
