Tab freezes when navigating to Google Play Music

Version: 52.0.2743.33 (64-bit)
OS: Goobuntu

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Navigate to https://play.google.com/music/listen
(2) Page shows "Loading Music Library" with a progress bar
(3) Progress bar stops partway through and "tab hang" dialog shows up after a while

What is the expected output?

Page loads normally

What do you see instead?

See screenshot

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

I will try to see if there's a crash report generated by the hang detector and update this issue.

The text logs are filled with messages like these.  Not sure if it's related.
