Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.33 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: The ctrl+tab implementation in Chrome is very inconvenient and does not follow the convention of Windows (don't familiar with other OS). What is the expected behavior? It should be like alt+tab (and ctrl+tab in lot of other applications): if you press ctrl+tab ONCE and totally RELEASE both key, it should switch to the last used tab Which means and if you press ctrl+tab again, it should switch back to previous tab you're using. If you want to switch to a 3rd tab (the ones other than the current one and last used one), you can just hold ctrl and tap tab several times until you get the one you want. They are still ordered by last visiting time. This is the standard behavior in Windows for alt+tab, and is also the same for lots of other applications' "ctrl+tab" shortkey. What went wrong? But in Chrome, it will always switch to the next tab. Which is very annoying when you have batch of tabs open and want to switch between two. Apparently, the best way to fix this problem is to add an option so everyone is happy. Or just make it's possible for extension to modify it. AFAIK, it's not possible currently. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 52.0.2743.33 Channel: beta OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 |
