Text returned from window.onBeforeUnload event does not display in the message box

Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.84 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a html page with following content in it
<html><body><script>
window.onbeforeunload = function() { return "Sure?"; };
</script></body></html>
2. Open the page in Chrome
3. Close the browser window
It does not display "Sure?" in the message box
What is the expected behavior?
It should should show user messages in the message box as it was showing in the previous versions
What went wrong?
Does not display message returned from the event handler
Did this work before? Yes In version 50.x
Chrome version: 51.0.2704.84 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0
