I also can't reproduce (M50/M53 Windows). One possibility is that the issue might be related to the extensions you have installed, as these can often cause glitchy animations. Could you provide a list of extensions and/or test in incognito mode? Note that this is not a compositing bug, the animation appears to be running on the main thread (style is updated on every frame)

Updated chrome to 53.0.2764.0 back with diag since you are not able to repro. It does look like there's a significant spike in GPU mem comparatively. If you want me to run a fire chart as well, let me know. These were taken in incognito.

Re checked on stable version 51.0.2704.84 and Canary 53.0.2766.0 on MAC 10.11.5 and unable to reproduce the issue, as requested in comment #5, can you please try disbaling all the extensions and try again. Attached is the video recording for the same, where no glitch is observed. Removing Test confirmation label, please add if required again. Thanks.!

Hi jamescollins1x0 - we're still unable to reproduce this bug. Please do check that all extensions are completely disabled at chrome:extensions (they can run in incognito mode unless that box is unchecked). Another thing to try is going to chrome:flags, and resetting all to default. If that still doesn't work you can capture good and bad traces from chrome:tracing, and also post the information from chrome:gpu?

Since we have not been able to reproduce this bug, I'm closing this issue as WontFix. Please reopen if you are able to provide more info to help us repro. |
