Closing as moot.

(Likely the host cs/ wasn't in the user's history file before this search, or the user's profile failed to load correctly from disk.)

chrome://omnibox/ showed that it did read history correctly.
In between seeing the search result for cs/YieldFromList and going to chrome://omnibox, did you either click on the "Did you mean to navigate to http://cs/YieldFromList?" infobar or actually go to http://cs/ or http://cs/YieldFromList some other way?
Yes, I did navigate to http://cs/YieldFromList in between. And clicked the "did you mean...". I've also went to "cs/YieldFromList/". I've played around with a few different versions.

I was just expecting that after I go to "http://cs/something" the omnibar would understand what I want, without having to restart Chrome.
It should, and normally does. Can't tell what might have happened in your case.
