Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/49.0.2623.63 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: This is a follow-up ticket of issue 600944 which focus on chromeos 3.14 kernel; not surprisingly insert R200 and then run librealsense demo programs would crash system or observe malfunction instead. Example URL: https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/blob/master/doc/installation.md Steps to reproduce the problem: With David's 'crouton' gadget readers could play around w/ R200 camera in 'unity-desktop', however the chromium-os v3.14 has some bugs easy to crash in UVC driver, hence it need some tinkering to enable R200 on chromebook w/ 3.14 kernel steps: 1. install 'crouton' w/ unity-desktop; reference: https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton/blob/master/README.md 2. follow 'librealsense' installation guide; reference: https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/blob/master/doc/installation.md 3. launch demonstration programs of librealsense, it either malfunctions or crashes thereof What is the expected behavior? Stable UVC driver stack that no malfunction, nor crash when users run librealsense demo programs What went wrong? whole system crash (reboot) or malfunction instead. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 49.0.2623.63 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: N/A There are two levels of issue to tackle R200 enabling on chromeos 3.14 kernel tree: firstly, patch UVC driver stack to fix crash/malfunction, secondly, enable R200 format support in UVC driver.
