Chrome browser history "Remove selected items" button malfunction

Reported by g.bhuvan...@gmail.com, Jun 7 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : Version 50.0.2661.102 m
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari:
    Firefox:
         IE:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Create history(it should be having history of 200 items / urls) in your Chrome browser.
(2)Ctrl+H --> Select the items you wanted to delete and scroll to bottom --> Click on "Older->" link button.
(3)Then click on the "Remove selected items" button, it will be highlighted with blue border but doesn't do any operation. To check go back to previous history page by clicking "<-Newer" link button. The selected items remain same. So the actual functionality is to delete the selected items it does not perform that. If your logic is like should not delete the selected items after moving to next page then the "Remove selected items" button should have been disabled and greyed out to the user. But it doesn't do either of the functionality.

What is the expected result?
It should do be either deleted or disabled.

What happens instead?
It is highlighted instead of deleting or disabling the "Remove selected items" button.

I am attaching the screen with the flow of functionality that I am trying to explain. So try to understand it by following the Screen shots.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

calamity@ can you please check that this does not affect the new MD history page?
The new history page is infinite scroll and won't have this issue.
