This is similar to  issue 581290  except that I need links in bookmarks or in tables of contents that open external .pdf files to work. We have thousands of documents with multiple links to external .pdf files that work with Adobe Reader or Acrobat as long as Adobe runs inside a browser.  Since Chrome no longer supports Adobe it is useless for our needs (or more importantly our thousands of clients' needs) if these internal links will not work.

You would have to view this in IE 11 or Firefox running Adobe plugin. I have to tell clients to use one of these rather than Chrome or Edge. Attached is a file showing the bookmark link properties. The path is relative to the location of the main file.
