Regression: Unable to play 'Easter egg' game via tap/touch in offline mode of dev-tool.

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 53.0.2761.2 (Official Build) 605ae590e7a3e805a4dda7e9487caeb06827c8aa-refs/branch-heads/2761@{#3}(32/64-bit) OS: Windows 10(Touch device) Steps: 1. Launch Chrome and open Dev-tool on NTP. 2. Go to 'Network' section, check 'Offline' check-box and open any website on it. 3. Press space bar key to start Easter egg game, then tap/touch on page and observe. Actual: Unable to play 'Easter egg' game via tap/touch in offline mode of dev-tool. Expected:Should be able to play 'Easter egg' game via tap/touch in offline mode of dev-tool. This is a regression issue broken in M-50, below is bisect info. Good build: 50.0.2625.0 Bad build: 50.0.2626.0 Narrow bisect: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/df4156349708e21844209290a2d3638b550e18b2..883acd6a5e0d3effbd7420926ee4f592e4525bf8?pretty=fuller&n=100 Suspecting: r370207 ? Note: This is touch device specific issue, same works fine using keyboard.

I don't think r370207 has anything to do with this. Could you route this to 'easter egg' game developers instead? Maybe it's not supposed to work while offline?

This is working as intended. Taps are only supported on mobile devices. In order to get this working via dev tools you need to go into device mode, refresh and you can play via mouse taps simulating screen touches. |
