Hello, As i stated in the title, i check if the option for new tab was set. Just in case i changed it and reapplied that checkbox. Same result. I don't think this is user related, as we have this issue with all computers at work, who use the latest chrome. And the issue itself is caused by chrome not closing it's processes. Wen't through all computers, I run chrome, open a few pages. Closed chrome and wait for a hour. Checked the running processes after 1 hour and the chrome processes were still there. Meaning it never closes the sessions after chrome itself is closed. Best regards, Arturs

Could you please try the below steps to solve this issue: 1. Clear out all of your Chrome history, data, and passwords. 2. Stop ALL Google processes, even the background. 3. Then run chrome cleanup tool to clean Windows, Applications, and Registry. https://www.google.com/chrome/cleanup-tool/ 4. Restart chrome

Hello, Seems like i have narrowed it down. It's related with updates. When you update your chrome to latest version, it's processes don't close even after you have closed chrome. Forcibly closing chrome processes or restarting the computer, solves it. Best regards, Arturs
