Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.54 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. sudo apt update 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? It should update without any errors What went wrong? E: Failed to fetch http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/dists/stable/InRelease Clearsigned file isn't valid, got 'NOSPLIT' (does the network require authentication?) Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 51.0.2704.54 Channel: beta OS Version: 52 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Unable to repro this issue on Ubuntu Trusty (14.04) for Google Chrome Beta Version - 52.0.2743.24 Ran - sudo apt update and no errors were displayed. @bhimanikritik: Could you please let us know the error you have encountered, which would help us in triaging it further. Also, please provide us the screen-recording for better understanding, in case if we are missing something here. Thank you.
