To clarify, you mean you'd like to be able to have the console at the bottom and at the same time have the elements inspector open on the right?

Could you give us some reasoning on why you think this would be a useful change?  What use cases/examples do you want to see in your DevTools workflow?

I'd really like to be able to use my monitors space efficiently. I often want to have the console as well as the inspect windows open. Being able to arrange them would allow me to see them + the page I'm working on at the same time.
Status: WontFix (was: Untriaged)
We recommend using vertical split mode (dock to right) for the mobile emulation and horizontal mode (dock to bottom) for desktop/ wide responsive setups.
