Get an update notification, but when I go to update it says the error I get is: An error occurred while checking for updates: Update check failed to start (error code 4: 0xA0430817 -- system level).

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Chrome just stops suddenly and crashes, and there is an update notification, but gives me this error:  
 (error code 4: 0xA0430817 -- system level).

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.63  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

just going with what was suggested when I tapped on the microsoft error code.

@dwcharlee -- Could you please uninstall previous chrome and do a fresh install which might clear the error. 
Also please disable any unwanted extensions and let us know whether the error is seen again.
