Issue descriptionExample URL: http://www.taccgl.org Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open up http://www.taccgl.org/ on a galaxy tab with device string "(Linux; Android 6.0.1; SAMSUNG SM-T810 Build/MMB29K) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) SamsungBrowser/4.0 Chrome/44.0.2403.133 Safari/537.36" 2. scroll down and up 3. use the links on the left (which are rotated by 90deg) labelled "Features Overview" etc. What is the expected behavior? View the page on a desktop to see its usual appearance. What went wrong? There appears black noise / random pixels on the upper most white link bar having the links labelled "Download", "Tutorial" ... After clicking on the links on the left (3) a green box opens also with noise and random pixels. The problem comes and goes with scrolling and clicking on the links. Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: SamsungBrowser/4.0 Chrome/44.0.2403.133 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.0.1 Flash Version: I do not own the device myself and got the device info from my web server logs. My site usually works fine with chrome, IE, and FF on desktops and with the default browser on some Android devices, while the device listed above fails. My site uses WebGL. It has a WebGL canvas on top of HTML elements. The problem occurs in areas where the WebGL canvas is supposed to be transparent and the underlying HTML is supposed to shine through. You can access my site using http://www.taccgl.org?dbg=t to get non-minified javascript and debug information on the console. Also bug Issue 584013 describes black noise on some Android devices, but that bug does not seem to specifically occur in a WebGL context and seems to be related to older Android versions.

Sorry, the user-agent string "SamsungBrowser" indicates that it is Samsung's modified version of Chrome and not Chrome itself. I recommend filing a bug with Samsung. The site renders fine on Chrome 53.0.2782.9 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) on a Nexus 5X. |
