Open Launcher 2. Expand Google Now 3. Observe a limited selection of cards What is the expected behavior? A more varied selection of cards is shown What went wrong? It's very inconsistent across users. Some just get one weather card or just weather and stocks or just sports scores. I used to see 'Stories to read', but they disappeared a while ago. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 53.0.2754.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 8406.0.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 I can understand not having total feature parity with the Android version because the hardware limitations in Chromebooks, but there really should be more cards available.

As per #5 on Issue 607664 , this actually seems to be happening to a number of users: https://redd.it/3oj7es https://goo.gl/EP5mms I'm not sure if this is a bug or WAI, but either way it seems like we could do some more to leverage Google Now. Assigning to Albert to help determine if this is a bug. If it's not, perhaps this is something we should drop into the FR backlog?

IIRC there's a lot of work we have to do on the Chrome OS side in order to display the cards. My hunch is that Now has updated the behavior of some cards and we're no longer able to display them. glevin@ swing by when you have a minute and we'll chat about this one.

I just get the weather card, and a More button. If I click that it says Unavailable and disables itself.

WHen I open Google Now, I only get the weather card and another card for a destination I frequent. When I click the More button, it loads then says "unavailable".

I only see the weather card on all 3 Chromebooks I have, works fine in my android devices, it's been like this for quite a while. I have re synced and hard reset the Chromebooks bit still nothing, must be an issue Google's end
