Google Japanese IME: Switch away by Ctrl-Shift-Space on Chrome apps enters a space character. |
||||||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 53.0.2758.0 OS: Chrome OS 8405.0.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Enable "Google Japanese Input" and some other input method. (2) Install "Text" app https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/text/mmfbcljfglbokpmkimbfghdkjmjhdgbg (3) Open it. (4) Press Ctrl-Shift-Space several times. What is the expected output? The input methods switches. Just that. What do you see instead? Space character entered in addition to the input method switch. Switching by "Ctrl-Space" doesn't have this issue. Since "Ctrl-Shift-Space" seems to be a relatively new shortcut added as a replacement of "Alt-Shift", something might be missing. It does not reproduce on Chrome Omnibox or on Chrome web content. It reproduces on Chrome OS Files app search box. shuchen@, could you mind helping me forwarding the issue to an appropriate owner?

Note: this is not a VK regression, but the fix should be in the IME extension.
