There is no direct link to return code bisect job status page on perf dashboard. It is hard for perf bot health sheriff to find the link and post to the associated test failure bug.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Say you want to run a bisect job for a test failue
2. You go to perf dashboard, browse the graph for the test, and start a return code bisect job
3. Once you started the bisect job, the page shows you a message with the link to the bisect job status page (originally at the top, now at the lower left corner). And then that message disappears after 1 or 2 seconds!
4. If you miss that link in that 1-2 sec period, there is no easy way to find that link back. And you don't have a chance to post that link back to the associated bug.
There are 2 indirect ways to find it back:
1. Use this magic link:
https://chromeperf.appspot.com/group_report?bug_id=616781
Replace the bug id with your bug id. It shows you the links to all the bisect jobs associated with that bug. This link is hard to remember. Let's call it "group report page for bug id X".
2. Use triaged bugs:
a. Go to https://chromeperf.appspot.com/alerts (for regression sheriffing)
b. Click "SHOW TRIAGED" button at top right corner
c. Click any bug id shown in the page
d. Then you find yourself in a page like this: https://chromeperf.appspot.com/group_report?bug_id=616781. This is the "group report page for bug id X" mentioned in the 1st way!
e. Change the bud id to the test failure bug and you find the link to the bisect job status page.
Both ways are indirect and hard for the sheriff to remember. It would be ideal to have some link in the dashboard to go to the "group report page for bug id X". For example, add one link to the drop-down menus so the sheriff can submit the bug id X and get the "group report page for bug id X". And then add this to the perf bot health sheriff doc.
