Source Maps doesn't work if use the JavaScript file in top window and iframe

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create HTML-page with minified JS script and iframe which includes the same script.
2. Debug the minified JavaScript in top window - show unminified JavaScript.
3. Debug the minified JavaScript in iframe - show minified JavaScript.

May be contrary: iframe - unminified, window - minified.
Similar behavior for the two iframes.

What is the expected behavior?
Always show unminified JavaScript.

What went wrong?
Show minified JavaScript even when Source Map found.

This happens with CSS sourcemaps as well. See plunker demo:

Since Plunker uses iframes, you'll need to click the blue "expand" icon in the upper right of the preview pane so it opens in a new window and provides a proper demonstration.

Your scenario works for me on Chrome Canary 57.0.2945.3, as well as on Chrome 54.0.2840.98. Closing this for now, let me know if it doesn't work
