thumbnails on opening page not displaying

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.63 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. all the time 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? to show thumbnails of most used pages What went wrong? they simply stopped showing, sometimes they do after a good 60 secs. tried reinstalling, no effect, tried chrome clean up tool, no effect. tried running with extensions off, no effect. cleared cache and cookies, no effect Did this work before? Yes 2 days a go Chrome version: 51.0.2704.63 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Let's handle this as a P0 for investigation. We need to try and reproduce this. This sounds similar to reports on Android we've heard in the past about icons showing up really late. We should also dig through UMA data to see if there are anomalies.

I couldn't immediately reproduce this. I have occasionally seen a similar problem in the past, but it never reproduced consistently for me - reloading the page or opening a new tab always fixed it for me.
