Auto-capitalization not works for US input tool

R53-8397.0.0 Clapper

Steps:
1. Switch to US input tool
2. In setting page , selected auto-capitalization 


Actual:
Type any words with physical keyboard of virtual keyboard , auto-capitalization not works

To my knowledge, this has never worked. Not on any channel or version or chromebook model.
