Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/50.0.2661.102 Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: Dear all, I experience a weird flickering on some pages such as Google Maps. I've attached one example screencast to demonstrate the exact problem of flickering and how it manifests. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Is someone able to reproduce the problem? I'm using the latest version of Chromium on Ubuntu 16.04 on a Thinkpad X230 with an Intel graphics card. Thankfully, ~Robert Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 50.0.2661.102 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 11.2 r999

Dear tkent, Thanks for your comment! I think the easiest way to reproduce the problem is to go on Facebook.com, view a photo, and then use the arrow keys to navigate through the photos. This produces flickering on my Thinkpad X230. By the way, I managed to get rid of the flickering by launching Chromium as follows: chromium-browser --disable-gpu-driver-bug-workarounds --enable-native-gpu-memory-buffers %U Does that help? Hi, I'm sorry there was no progress on this issue since June. Could you confirm if the flickering is still happening on newer versions of Chrome?
