Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Have some extension installed that shows an icon next to the address bar 2. right-click the extension icon, select "Hide from Chrome menu" 3. Now try to unhide it What is the expected behavior? There should be an easy way to unhide it. I'd expect to find it under chrome://extensions, where the extension is listed. First of all, I notice that the extension is not disabled. So, there should be some option like "Show in Chrome menu". What went wrong? There is no such option. There's no easily discoverable way to unhide the extension that I have hidden. Even disabling and reenabling it won't do the trick. Nor reloading it. I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling it; I guess that does work but that's certainly not a decent option. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 50.0.2661.102 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Now there's an additional, pathetic quirk. So, I have a total of three extensions installed and enabled, 2 installed from the Store and one (developed by me) installed as unpacked. Initially, all their icons were visible. The unpacked one (let's call it A) is "gone": I hid it with "Hide from Chrome menu" and haven't been able to unhide it in any way. Now I hid one of the two regular ones, let's call it B. So extension B's icon is gone too, and the only visible icon was is C's. Now if I go to chrome://extensions and I disable extension C, extension B's icon becomes visible (pure nonsense) while extension C's icon disappears (as expected); when I reenable extension C and its icon reappears as expected, extension B's icon disappears again (kind of expected as I hid it with "hide from menu", except for the fact that there's no way to get it back).

Ok, so I see what's going on: The "Hide from chrome menu" option is equivalent to: - moving the extension's icon to the rightmost place - expanding the address bar to the right, hence moving all the icons one place to the right, effectively hiding the last one. This is counterintuitive as fuck.
