Can someone analyze and call how in particular we could improve the experience? Just watching the video I didn't see anything glaringly obvious.

The two main issues I saw were: 1) 0:13s -- user has two monitors side-by-side and is dragging the 3rd, then when released the two side-by-side monitors are separated in a strange way 2) 0:15s -- user is able to drag a window between two other monitors where there is not enough space for it Lower priority -- the user should also have enough padding around the monitors such that any monitor being dragged won't get cut off

Thanks tom, the time indicies help a lot. 1) - I'm not quite sure what happened here. We should try to reproduce that in the new UI, it should be a little bit more robust. 2) That one is a tricky to prevent and also seems a bit of an edge case. 3) That should also be fixed in the new UI. I will try to repro with the new UI when I have a multi monitor setup again, but I don't think any of this is super high priority - I think your new description is much more accurate.

#1 is definitely the worst, I'm okay with making #2 lower-priority.

Have you been able to reproduce #1 with the MD Settings UI?

Hopefully this was fixed with issue 671376 Please re-open if it is still reproducible in 56 or in MD-Settings (which was already fixed).
