External USB mouse and keyboard take up to 20 seconds to respond when Pixel 2 is used with Apple digital multiport adapter

Issue description

Version 50.0.2661.104 (64-bit)
Platform 7978.76.0 (Official Build) stable-channel samus
Firmware Google_Samus.6300.174.0
Pixel 2 (Samus)
Google-A 802.1x

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Get the Apple USB-C digital AV multiport adapter

(2) Plug in an HDMI cable -> monitor, a USB type-C cable to power, and a USB type-A cable to the monitor's USB hub. (Z30i). Plug an external keyboard and/or mouse into the monitor hub.

(3) Plug the adapter (with cables) into the pixel 2's type-C port (either).

Expected Result:

Pixel display is extended to external monitor, mouse and keyboard start working within a few seconds.

Actual Result:

Pixel display is extended to external monitor, mouse and keyboard take ~20 seconds to respond.

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)

Always.

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?

User has to wait.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or
log if possible.

UI>Input component is used for native event issues. This seems like an OS issue than a WebPlatform issue.

This is still an issue. Are there any logs I can pull for you?
