Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 7978.69.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.94 Safari/537.36 Platform: 7978.69.0 (Official Build) stable-channel veyron_minnie Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Connect to a wifi with channel higher than 8 2. Got "Network Out of Range" error (the connection bar is very good and got fixed if I change the modem to channel 8) What is the expected behavior? Connect normally What went wrong? Wifi with channel higher than 8 got "Network Out of Range" Did this work before? No Chrome version: 50.0.2661.94 Channel: stable OS Version: 7978.69.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 There are so many report of this issue on Google Product Forums. And yeah changing the channel is fixing this but we usually got troubled when it's a public wifi channel and we can't connect to it.

I have reliably duplicated this issue. On a Cisco 1852 AP I am unable to connect to any SSID broadcasting on channel 11. I can go into the same AP and manually set the channel to channels 1-6 and connect to the same SSID with no issues. I have used multiple SSIDs with the same result. ChromeOS version 53.0.2785.154 (64-bit) Platform 8530.96.0 (Official Build) stable-channel reks Firmware Google_Reks.7287.133.36
