Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.63 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. a div apply backdrop-filter: blur(10px) and background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5) 2. when hover or focus or animate other elements under the div,the div occurs light stripes. What is the expected behavior? no stripes.blur effect should be smooth. What went wrong? blur effect occurs light stripes. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 51.0.2704.63 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Thanks for the test case. On my machine testing Chrome 51 and 52 the cover div is just a grey box and the following error appears multiple times in the terminal: [19421:19421:0531/130030:ERROR:gles2_cmd_decoder.cc(12148)] [.DisplayCompositor-0xe9c923e8500]GL ERROR :GL_INVALID_OPERATION : glCopyTexImage2D: incompatible format Lowering priority as this is not a shipped feature. Passing to paint team.

I still see the problem on 52.0.2743.116 (64-bit), OS X 10.11.6. Check out this screenshot and note the white lines in red circles. this seems similar to Issue 582219 .
