Meta Theme-Color is not being applied on tablets

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a page that sets a theme-color via meta-tag, e.g. are technics.com 2. The user interface is not adapting to the color of the meta-tag 3. Repeat the same on an Android smartphone and it works What is the expected behavior? The UI should adapt to the specified meta-tag color. What went wrong? Chrome behaves differently on the same platform depending on the device class, e.g phone or tablet. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 51.0.2704.61 Channel: beta OS Version: N Flash Version:
