Whishlist : Please document on how watch variables by values instead of their names.

Reported by lael.cel...@gmail.com, May 27 2016

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
see http://stackoverflow.com/q/37336238

What is the expected behavior?
Being able to lookup variables according to the values they contains.

What went wrong?
Searching variables that contains specific strings is a feature of every debugger in every languages (even for languages that don’t use manual memory management like Java).

However, the interface is not intuitive, and I couldn’t found how to achieve what I wanted.

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: all versions Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

The current situation is a core feature is unusable. It’s much like being unable to remove breakpoints.

At least, this should be possible for simple values like strings or integers (excluding array and lists).

This concern all ᴏꜱ blink can run on and is not specific to android.

Re-assigning to Pavel for triage here.

Talking with the developer in the IRC channel I found out they are attempting to rename all variables within a project they don't control. Building and rolling out this feature provides no clear benefit to how it helps developers building applications every day. I think the team has numerous other tasks to focus on that will provide a greater benefit to developers at large then something like this.

Overall, I don't feel this is a feature that the team should focus on without a solid use-case for how it helps developers build and debug their applications more rapidly.

Talking this over with Paul Irish now in IRC this is absolutely a feature that won't be implemented. Thanks for the suggestion.
