contenteditable and flexbox messing up

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.6 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. https://fiddle.jshell.net/atp8bwcc/3/show/light/
2. after deleting multiple images (they are in contenteditable), the div class="thumb" disappear from the screen
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
contenteditable div's shouldn't affect the div class="thumb" located after and outside them

What went wrong?
it's 'messed up', I don't know exactly what happens

Tested the issue on Windows 7 using 52.0.2743.6, latest canary 53.0.2749.2 with below steps:

1.Opened URL: https://fiddle.jshell.net/atp8bwcc/3/show/light/
2.Opened dev tools.
3.Observed that the div class="thumb" is not seen in elements tab.

Please find attached screenshot and confirm if this is the issue.

cyril.auburtin@Could you please provide detailed reproducible steps with actual and expected behavior screencast for better understanding the issue to triage it further.

Well, it's a bit hard to reproduce, it must be 'stress tested' with del or suppr key and clicks on a few slides, then the bottom div gets out of sight.

I'm sorry for not being able to make the test more isolated, I'll try more tests when possible, but it seems to be a layout/CSS issue with contenteditable
