Steps to reproduce the problem:

Able to reproduce this on the latest canary(53.0.2750.0), stable/beta(51.0.2704.63) on Windows-7, Mac OS 10.11.4 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04.

http://output.jsbin.com/borece/16 didn't opened the menu on clicking the link on chrome version: 50.0.2661.102 and before.

Marking this Untriaged and labelling accordingly for more inputs.

Ok, the link menu is triggered either by double-click in an existing link or click in the link button in toolbar (the chain icon)

in this video, I move the mouse cursor only to the left, and the selection behaves weirdly: http://recordit.co/3blyTEww1f (with http://output.jsbin.com/borece/16, so it's a problem with translate)

I think as you scroll off to the left you are on an element whic is after the selection so the text to the right is supposed to be selected.

yosin@ to confirm or refute.
