When recording audio, unless speakers are muted, there is horrible feedback and echoing

That page is effectively a loopback audio test page, so using headphones is probably your best bet to hear the audio. I don't think this is indicative of a bug in Chrome, so I'm closing this bug. Pull requests to improve the usability of that page [1] or any of the other audio samples in [2] are always welcome! Yes playing a local getUserMedia stream in a mediaelement has that effect unfortunately . We should probably add that to the text on the page though. Filed https://github.com/webrtc/samples/issues/798. |
