ext4: enable Metadata checksum |
|||
Issue descriptionmetadata checksum protect filesystems from meta data corruption that snowball into broken filesystem. https://ext4.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Ext4_Metadata_Checksums - Verify it works on x86-64 without performance degradation - Verify it works on arm/arm64 without performance degradation - We can enable it on existing filesystem. Given we are using 32bit version we may need to extend some directory inode to get full protection.
