Can't copy full URL from address bar (OS X)

Reported by stsh...@gmail.com, May 24 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2746.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Select full URL
2. Cmd-C to copy

What is the expected behavior?
URL goes into copy buffer for future pasting

What went wrong?
Nothing is copied.

Did this work before? Yes

Chrome version: 53.0.2746.0 Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.11.5
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

1. If I select all the URL text except the first w in "www" then the text copies fine.

2. This is intermittent but I can't figure out what circumstances are involved.

3. Not sure if it copies null text into the copy buffer or if it just fails to copy anything, but I think the former, because when I paste I get nothing, not what was previously in the copy buffer.
