Unresponsive plugin - unknown shows up when using IE Tab

Project Member Reported by phistuck@gmail.com, May 23 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Use IE Tab -
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ie-tab/hehijbfgiekmjfkfjpbkbammjbdenadd
2. Use HP Quality Center 11.50 within IE Tab (I do not have a demo server, but I am not sure it really matters). It basically uses ActiveX, I believe.
3. Try to refresh the defect list on a low speed connection (or anything else that will make it load for a long time).

What is the expected behavior?
1. The browser is responsive.
2. In case of an unresponsive plugin, the name of the plugin should show up instead of "Unknown".

What went wrong?
1. The entire browser is not responsive.
2. After a while (about 15 seconds), an unresponsive plugin dialog shows up. The plugin name is "unknown".

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.94 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

If you really do not have a plugin name, then a path, or anything else that could identify the problem should show up. Alternatively, offer to create a crash (or hang) report so I could create an issue for it.

It goes away once it finishes loading.
Killing the plugin kills the Internet Explorer contents of the IE Tab tab (the IE Tab address line remains).
