Issue description

Chrome Version       : 51.0.2704.36 (Build) (a 64 bit)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
  1. Launching Chromium
  2. Playing any HTML video

What is the expected result?
  Video playing correctly

What happens instead?
  Video gets glitchy (see screenshot)

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

  Terminal emulator output:
    [1:3:0522/160851:ERROR:video_layer_impl.cc(368)] Not implemented reached in virtual void cc::VideoLayerImpl::AppendQuads(cc::RenderPass*, cc::AppendQuadsData*)

Verified few HTML Videos on Windows, Mac and Linux on the above mentioned version and did not see any glitches.

@aloisiogabriele -- Could you please provide us the specific URL where you are seeing the glitches which would help us triaging the issue further.

Any HTML video on www.youtube.com and other sites. I forgot to say that I can hear sound with no problem while the video plays.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7 using chrome latest Beta M51-51.0.2704.54. Observed all the HTML videos are playing fine as expected.

Aloisiogabriele@ - Is this issue seen on incognito mode as well? Could you please recheck this issue by creating a new profile under chrome://settings without any apps or extensions in your browser. If issue still persists let us know on which OS platform you are facing this issue.

Yes, also with a new profile the issue persists.

My Chromium is currently running on Gentoo Linux 4.4.6-gentoo.

Have you ever checked this forum to resolve your issue, Some video issues are caused by Chrome extensions, plugins, or something saved in your cache or browser data. The below link explains you a basic troubleshooting to get rid of this issue. If it works please let us know. Kindly check this issue by upgrading it to latest chrome stable M51-51.0.2704.106.
