Alert dialogs do not show the Google Chrome app icon [Mac]

Project Member Reported by shrike@chromium.org, May 21 2016

Issue description

Version: 52.0.2743.0, but at least back to 50.0.2661.102
OS: 10.11

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Navigate to http://sislands.com/coin70/week1/dialogbox.htm
(2) Click the small "alert" button about 1+ screen down the page

What is the expected output?
The alert dialog that appears should display the Google Chrome app icon at its left side.

What do you see instead?
The alert dialog has a blank space where the app icon should be.

Able to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.11.4 with chrome version '50.0.2661.102'.

Regression issue broken in M50, changelog below

Changelog below:
-------------------
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/50.0.2641.0..50.0.2642.0?pretty=fuller&n=10000

From CL: https://codereview.chromium.org/1668283002 ? The above issue seems to be intentionally induced to make it look less like trusted UI.

@meacer: Can you please confirm as per above explanation ?

Thank you!

Yes, this was an intentional change. Duping into bug 584371.

shrike: As your point in the other thread about not running this change by the Mac team, I didn't think it was a significant enough change at the time and made all platforms consistent, but turns out I was wrong. Will do so next time.

Thank you. And of course the intent is only to give input on how Mac users might interpret a change and to discuss solutions to issues that come from that.
