Email field of browserlogin unfocusable on new tab

Issue description

Chrome Version: 50.0.2661.102 (Developer-Build) (64-Bit)
Is this the most recent version:
OS + version: linux 4.5.4-1
              4.5.4-1-ARCH
              mate 1.12.x
CPU architecture: 64-bit
Window manager: MATE
URLs (if relevant):none
Behavior in Linux Firefox: not testet
Behavior in Windows Chrome (if you have access to it): not tested

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Log out or install a new Chromium
(2) Open chromium and click on user icon in the top right windows border
(3) try to login and you find yourself typing into the url/search bar of the browser
(4) open any website and try to login again, now it works

Expected Result: be able to type into the email address field in the login dialog

Actual Result: typing into the address/url/search bar even after focusing the email field

How frequently does this problem reproduce? 
: happends always (tried 3 times)

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
The workaround would be opening any website before trying to logingSteps To Reproduce:

Unable to repro this issue on Ubuntu Trusty (14.04) for Google Chrome Stable Version - 50.0.2661.102

@jonas_michel_1997: Could you please re-test the same on a clean profile [chrome://settings -> Add Person] and let us know your observations.

Also, please let us know if the procedure followed is correct or not. Else, provide us the screen-recording for better understanding.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Linux 14.04 chrome version 50.0.2661.102 - was able to type into the email address field in the login dialog

Could you please try the same on a new profile where there are no apps/extensions and update the thread. You can create a new profile from chrome://settings
