Notifications with Hangouts appear, then disappear, then come back |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: Version 52.0.2727.0 dev (64-bit) Chrome OS Version: Platform 8302.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel lulu Chrome OS Platform: Dell Chromebook 13 <b>Network info: <network, encryption type, router model (if known)></b> Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1) Open Google Hangouts. Minimize. (2) Receive message. Notification appears. (3) Have that same person send another message before acting on the notification. Notification disappears. (4) Do it again. Notification re-appears. Notification count is still 1, not 3. Expected Result: Notification shouldn't go away after additional message comes in. Notification counter should increment with each message. Actual Result: How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always) What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible.

What kind of Hangouts are we talking about here? A site? An extension? An app? Is this really only an issue on ChromeOS?

I just tried this with Hangouts (non-Android) and I couldn't repro on M59 beta. We did do a lot of fixing/work with the notification center so this may be fixed. Would you mind trying it again? Thanks. cc: yoshiki@

It looks it doesn't happen now as I checked. But I don't know if this is truly fixed or not. Could you report a feedback (Alt-Shift-I) when you happen this issue? It includes some logs which may help us solve the issue. Thanks.
