Regression : Drag pointer is not seen while dragging App in Apps Menu |

Issue descriptionVersion: 52.0.2741.0 OS: Ubuntu 14.04 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Launch chrome -> Sign into Profile-> Now go to New tab page (2)Now click on Apps Menu-> Drag the App and observe for Drag Pointer(Please refer Video) Expected: While Dragging App from Apps Menu Hand Pointer should turn to Drag Pointer Actual: Hand pointer is seen while dragging App instead of Hand Pointer This is Regression Issue broken in M-52 Manual good and Bad Builds: Good Build: 52.0.2724.0 Bad Build: 52.0.2725.0 Note: 1)Unable to provide narrow bisect as sign in to chrome in chromium builds is not possible, hence providing Manual change log info. 2)Issue is not seen on Windows OS Below is the Manual CHANGELOG URL: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/52.0.2724.0..52.0.2725.0?pretty=fuller&n=10000 Unable to find Suspect from above Manual Changelog. Please help in assigning it to Respective owner

Thanks for your report! I believe this app menu is part of the server-rendered piece of the NTP UI, in which case whatever change caused the regression wouldn't be in the Chromium changelog. Just to clarify, since I wasn't sure until I watched the videos, the problem is that the open-hand pointing cursor doesn't change to a closed-hand dragging cursor. Samarth, could you take a look?

I just tried this on a current trunk build on Linux, and on Windows Canary 52.0.2743.0, and I can't reproduce it. Maybe this was a regression in the OneGoogleBar which has since been fixed. Can you try if this still reproduces for you?

Still able to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using latest M-52(52.0.2743.6). samarth@Could you please look into this issue.

Huh, now it does reproduce for me as well, on Dev (52.0.2739.0 #393996) and trunk (53.0.2749.0 #395831), but not Beta (51.0.2704.54). (all Linux)
