Advanced Font Settings Not Working on Facebook for Khmer

Reported by sungk...@gmail.com, May 19 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : 50.0.2661.102 m
URLs (if applicable) : https://www.facebook.com/plovpit/
Other browsers tested: Firefox
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: OK
    Firefox: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Configure the Advanced Font Settings in Chrome (with https://www.google.com.kh/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjx68qm6uXMAhXBKKYKHRJhAigQFggaMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fchrome.google.com%2Fwebstore%2Fdetail%2Fadvanced-font-settings%2Fcaclkomlalccbpcdllchkeecicepbmbm%3Fhl%3Den&usg=AFQjCNFPiMETQavlTUGK_Goncx1PUwb3DA&sig2=5OBNruY996qwrvMwaD_7bg&bvm=bv.122448493,d.dGY ) for Khmer to use Content as the font (available here: https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Content )
(2) Browse to https://www.facebook.com/plovpit/ as compared with https://km.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E1%9E%91%E1%9F%86%E1%9E%96%E1%9F%90%E1%9E%9A%E1%9E%8A%E1%9E%BE%E1%9E%98

What is the expected result?
Both sites should use the "Content" font for the Khmer language on the page.

What happens instead?
On the Facebook page the Khmer language font preferences are not honored like they are on the Khmer Wikipedia site.

This used to work, but has not worked for about a year or so.

Ah yes, sorry I didn't mention that you have to correctly configure Firefox for Khmer, you can change the font for Khmer to whatever Khmer font you want in Firefox.
The issue for Chrome is that even though I change the font for Khmer, it doesn't have any effect. Here's a screenshot.
