Regression : Flickering of image is seen after page is scrolled up/down with mouse wheel in www.toyotabharat.com

Issue description

Version: 52.0.2741.0 19d105a2a1ec66924ff415f27ff170db7a67ba36-refs/heads/master@{#394609} (32/64-bit)
OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS)
URL : http://www.toyotabharat.com/showroom/innova/

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1) Launch chrome and navigate to above url
2) Now scroll down the page and click on 'Exterior 360°' view image.
3) Now try to scroll up/down the page once the 'Exterior 360°' image is loaded and observe

Actual : Flickering of image is seen after page is scrolled up/down with mouse wheel
Expected : Flickering of image should not be seen after page is scrolled up/down with mouse wheel

This is a regression issue broken in 'M-51' and below is the manual regression and Narrow bisect info:
Good build : 51.0.2686.0
Bad build : 51.0.2687.0

@dtapuska : Could you please help to reassign if your change is not the cause for this change.

Note : 1) Issue is not seen om Mac OS.
       2) Issue is not seen on other browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
The page is doing its own smooth scrolling mechanism.

It includes this script:
http://www.toyotabharat.com/tsb_scripts/smoothscroll.js

Edge, IE and FireFox are skipped for smooth scrolling. And chrome should be too since smooth scrolling is enabled natively now.
