Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a new window, have the cursor in the OmniBar 2. Type "test one two" 3. Type Option+delete (backspace), option+left What is the expected behavior? Option+delete should delete the previous word; option+cursor keys should move by word; cmd+left/right keys should move to beginning and end of line What went wrong? Nothing happens Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 50.0.2661.102 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.4 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 Note that this works fine in in-browser text fields, it only doesn't work in the OmniBar

Ok, it happens in incognito mode too, but it doesn't happen in Chrome on a guest account. I wonder if I have some sort of malware. I am investigating.

It turns out I was using the Unicode keyboard layout, which eats these keyboard combinations in OS X text input fields, but not in the custom input components that Chromium uses. I believe this warrants a *headdesk*. Please close this non-issue, apologies for the noise.
